What makes Menstruation Pops different?
Menstruation Pops are designed for the not-so-fun parts of having a period: the cramping, tension, and overall discomfort that ibuprofen only partially touches. We include CBD because it may help ease cramping, calm the nervous system, and take the edge off the physical and emotional intensity that comes with your cycle. Delivered vaginally, it gets to work faster and more directly than anything you'd swallow.
Do they interact with birth control?
Menstruation Pops are formulated for local use and don't contain ingredients known to interfere with birth control. If you have questions about your specific contraceptive method, your healthcare provider is the right person to ask as they know your full health picture.
Can I use more than one Pop in a day?
We recommend starting with one Pop per day. If you're not feeling the relief you're looking for after about 30 minutes, a second Pop is fine. As always, listen to your body and if you have any concerns, check with your healthcare provider.
Will CBD Menstrual Pops make me feel high?
No. Lādē Pops contain CBD, not THC. CBD does not produce a high. Our Menstruation formula contains only trace levels of THC, below the federal legal threshold of 0.3%, and not enough to cause any psychoactive effect. What CBD may do is help ease tension, modulate discomfort, and support your body through your cycle. All delivered directly where you need it most.
How do Menstruation Pops support cramp relief?
Menstrual cramps are caused by prostaglandins, compounds that trigger uterine contractions and can make your cycle genuinely debilitating. Menstruation Pops deliver CBD and Ayurvedic botanicals directly to the vagina where they may help calm tension, modulate discomfort, and support your body through the intensity of your cycle. No hormones, no NSAIDs, and no waiting for something you swallowed to kick in.
Can vaginal health change throughout my cycle?
Yes, and more than most people realize. Vaginal pH, discharge, and sensitivity all shift naturally with hormonal fluctuations throughout your cycle. Cervical mucus becomes clear and stretchy around ovulation; dryness and sensitivity may increase in the luteal phase leading up to your period. These changes are normal. Menstruation Pops are formulated to work with your body at its most sensitive point in the cycle, supporting comfort and balance right when you need it most.
How do I know if my period is normal or something more?
Painful periods are common but debilitating ones shouldn't be accepted as inevitable. If cramping regularly interferes with your daily life, persists outside of menstruation, or feels severe, it's worth a conversation with your healthcare provider. Conditions like endometriosis and PCOS can take 5-7 years to diagnose because women are told their pain is normal when it isn't.
We take this seriously. Endometriosis and complex menstrual conditions are at the heart of why we built Lādē and it's a community we're deeply committed to.
Perimenopause FAQ's
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Consult your physician before use if you are pregnant, nursing, have allergies, or are taking any medication. Lādē Pops are meant to complement your self-care routine with a soothing, comforting experience.
Will Perimenopause Pops affect my hormones?
No. Lādē Pops are completely hormone-free and that's intentional. Perimenopause Pops are formulated with CBD and Ayurvedic botanicals that work with your body as it transitions, without introducing or influencing hormones. For women navigating perimenopause who aren't ready for or interested in hormone therapy, that distinction matters. As always, if you have specific concerns about your health or current medications, your healthcare provider is the right resource.
How often should I use Perimenopause Pops?
Perimenopause Pops contain two formulas in one tin because perimenopause is two things at once. Use one Pop from the Menstruation strip nightly for the three days before your period. Use a Menopause Pop as needed for moisture, libido support, or mood – whenever your body is asking for it. Insert using a clean finger or applicator, and wear a panty liner or period panties if desired.
Will Perimenopause Pops help with mood and libido?
We formulated the Menopause strip in your Perimenopause tin with exactly those goals in mind. Alongside CBD, we chose two Ayurvedic and botanical ingredients with deep roots in women's wellness: Shatavari (Asparagus Racemosus), traditionally used in Ayurveda to support female reproductive health, moisture, and libido; and Black Cohosh (Actaea Racemosa), long studied for its potential to support mood and ease the physical discomforts of hormonal transition. Together with CBD, they may promote a sense of calm, receptivity, and comfort that's delivered directly where your body needs it most.
Why include CBD in a perimenopause formula?
Because perimenopause is two things at once we formulated accordingly. Your Perimenopause tin contains two strips, each with CBD working toward a different purpose.
The Menstruation strip includes CBD for its potential to ease cramping, calm the nervous system, and take the edge off the physical and emotional intensity that comes with your cycle because periods in perimenopause can be unpredictable.
The Menopause strip includes CBD alongside Shatavari and Black Cohosh to support moisture, comfort, and a sense of calm and receptivity which addresses the vaginal and emotional shifts that come with declining estrogen.
Two formulas in one tin — because perimenopause is two things at once.
What is perimenopause and how is it different from menopause?
Perimenopause is the transitional phase before menopause when estrogen and progesterone levels begin to fluctuate, sometimes dramatically. It can last anywhere from 2 to 10 years and typically begins in a woman's 40s, though it can start earlier. Menopause itself is defined as 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period.
During perimenopause, cycles become irregular and symptoms can include hot flashes, mood changes, sleep disruption, vaginal dryness, changes in libido, and shifts in how your body responds to stress. No two experiences are alike: some women sail through it, others find it significantly disruptive.
Why are my periods changing during perimenopause?
As estrogen and progesterone levels begin to fluctuate during perimenopause, ovulation becomes less predictable and your cycle follows suit. You may notice periods that are longer or shorter than usual, heavier or lighter flow, more cramping, or cycles that skip entirely. Spotting between periods is also common. All of this is your body responding to shifting hormone levels, not a sign that something is wrong.
That said, unusually heavy or prolonged bleeding (soaking through a pad or tampon every hour, or bleeding that lasts longer than 7 days) is worth a conversation with your healthcare provider. So is any bleeding that occurs after menopause has been established.
In the meantime, Menstruation Pops are formulated for exactly this kind of unpredictability by supporting your body through cycles that no longer follow the rules and the in-between times that feel...different.
What causes vaginal dryness and discomfort during perimenopause?
As estrogen levels decline during perimenopause, the vaginal tissue becomes thinner, less elastic, and less naturally lubricated. This can cause dryness, irritation, discomfort during sex, and increased sensitivity. The thinning of vaginal tissue also disrupts the natural pH balance, which can make women more susceptible to urinary tract infections (UTIs). Vaginal dryness and its related effects tend to persist and can worsen over time without support.
The good news is there are options and not all of them involve hormones. Lādē Menopause Pops are formulated specifically for this: CBD, Shatavari, and Black Cohosh delivered vaginally to support moisture, soothe tissue, and address discomfort directly at the source.
If symptoms are significantly impacting your quality of life, your healthcare provider can help you explore the full range of options including vaginal estrogen therapy.
Why has my libido changed and is this normal?
Yes and you're far from alone. Changes in libido during perimenopause are incredibly common and almost universally underreported because women are still not encouraged to talk about their sex lives openly, let alone when hormones are making things complicated.
The causes are layered. Declining estrogen and testosterone levels directly affect sexual desire. Vaginal dryness and tissue thinning can make sex uncomfortable or painful, which creates its own cycle of avoidance. Add in disrupted sleep, mood shifts, and the general weight of midlife and it's not surprising that desire takes a hit.
It isn't something you just have to accept. Lādē Menopause Pops are formulated with CBD, Shatavari, and Black Cohosh, botanicals with a long history of supporting female desire, moisture, and receptivity. Addressing the physical side of the equation is often the first step toward feeling like yourself again.
It's always worth a discussion with your healthcare provider to explore the full picture of options that, thankfully, are continuing to advance.
Is it normal to feel tired all the time during perimenopause?
Yes, it's completely normal and for good reason. The hormonal fluctuations of perimenopause directly affect sleep quality, often causing night sweats, difficulty falling asleep, or waking in the early hours. Add in the mood shifts and the physical demands of a body in transition, and fatigue starts to feel less like a symptom and more like a constant companion.
The connection between sleep, stress, and hormonal health is real and cyclical. Most of us recognize that poor sleep amplifies mood changes, which then disrupts sleep further. Supporting your body through this transition means addressing that cycle, not just pushing through it.
Lādē Pops won't solve everything but they're designed to support your body at its most vulnerable points in the cycle, so you can start to feel like yourself – or a new version of you again.

What is menopause?
Menopause is defined as 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period and marks the end of a woman's reproductive years. It typically occurs between ages 45 and 55, with the average age in the US being 51. What most people experience as menopause is actually the transition leading up to it: perimenopause. We like to refer to it as the "in between" time, which can last anywhere from 2 to 10 years.
Once menopause is established, estrogen and progesterone levels remain consistently low unless you take hormone replacements. This is a permanent hormonal shift, not a temporary fluctuation which is why symptoms like vaginal dryness, changes in libido, and mood shifts often require ongoing support rather than a short-term fix.
Does vaginal dryness get worse after menopause?
For many women, yes. During perimenopause, estrogen fluctuates which means symptoms can come and go. After menopause is established and estrogen levels remain consistently low, vaginal dryness, thinning, and discomfort can become more persistent. This is sometimes called Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) and affects a significant majority of postmenopausal women, though it remains widely underreported and undertreated.
The good news is that consistent, targeted support can make a meaningful difference. Menopause Pops are designed for ongoing, non-hormonal vaginal care.
Will Menopause Pops affect my hormones?
Lādē Pops are completely hormone-free and that's intentional. Menopause Pops are formulated with CBD and Ayurvedic botanicals that work with your body as it transitions, without introducing or influencing hormones. What makes Menopause Pops different?
Menopause Pops are designed for the vaginal changes that come with declining estrogen: dryness, discomfort, reduced libido, and tissue thinning. CBD, Shatavari, and Black Cohosh work together to hydrate, soothe, and support vaginal tissue, non-hormonally, delivered directly where your body needs it most.
No hormones or systemic side effects. Our plant-based support gets to work faster than anything you'd swallow.
Can I use Menopause Pops daily?
Menopause Pops are designed for ongoing use since vaginal dryness and tissue changes don't resolve on their own. Consistent support tends to work better than occasional use. Use one Pop nightly, or several times per week as needed for moisture, comfort, and libido support. Insert using a clean finger or applicator, and wear a panty liner if desired.
Listen to your body. If you have any concerns about frequency or fit with your overall wellness routine, your healthcare provider is a good resource.
Do Menopause Pops help with dryness or discomfort?
That's exactly what they're formulated for. As estrogen declines, vaginal tissue becomes thinner, less elastic, and less naturally lubricated . This causes dryness, irritation, and discomfort during sex. Unlike hot flashes, which often ease after menopause is established, vaginal dryness tends to persist and can worsen over time without support.
Menopause Pops deliver CBD, Shatavari, and Black Cohosh vaginally — directly to the tissue that needs it — to support moisture, soothe irritation, and address discomfort at the source. Non-hormonal and plant-based, formulated for exactly what your body is going through.
If symptoms are significantly impacting your quality of life, your healthcare provider can help you explore the full range of options including vaginal estrogen therapy.
Do Menopause Pops help with libido?
We formulated Menopause Pops with exactly that goal in mind. CBD, Shatavari, and Black Cohosh were specifically chosen for their potential to support moisture, ease physical discomfort, and promote a sense of calm and receptivity. When sex is uncomfortable or painful, desire naturally follows. Addressing the physical side of the equation is often the first step toward feeling like yourself again.
Does menopause cause anxiety?
Yes and it's more common than most people realize. The hormonal fluctuations of perimenopause and the estrogen decline of menopause directly affect neurotransmitter activity, including serotonin and GABA, which regulate mood and anxiety. Women who have never experienced anxiety before sometimes find it emerging for the first time during this transition.
Poor sleep amplifies anxiety, which disrupts sleep further. Add the broader emotional weight of midlife and a body that feels unfamiliar, and it's not surprising that anxiety peaks during this phase.
Lādē Pops' cornerstone ingredient, CBD, is included for its potential to support the body's stress response and promote calm. If anxiety is significantly affecting your daily life, please speak with your healthcare provider.
How can CBD support me in menopause?
CBD has been explored for its potential to support a general sense of calm, ease physical tension, and modulate how the body processes discomfort. During menopause, when estrogen decline affects everything from sleep to mood to vaginal tissue, CBD's potential to support the body's stress response becomes particularly relevant.
Delivered vaginally rather than orally, CBD gets to work right where menopause symptoms are most physically present. In Menopause Pops, CBD works alongside Shatavari and Black Cohosh, two botanicals with deep roots in supporting women through hormonal transition.
How does Black Cohosh help with hot flashes?
Black Cohosh (Actaea Racemosa) is one of the most studied botanical ingredients for menopausal symptoms. It has been traditionally used and researched for its potential to support mood, ease the physical discomfort of hormonal transition, and reduce the frequency and intensity of hot flashes though the exact mechanism isn't fully understood. We include it because its role in supporting vaginal comfort, mood, and the overall experience of menopause is well-documented.
It's worth noting that while Black Cohosh is included in Menopause Pops for its broader menopausal support, vaginal suppositories deliver it locally rather than systemically. Hot flashes are a systemic symptom and your healthcare provider can help you explore additional options, including oral Black Cohosh supplements, that may help further.
